Reaching Our Generations, Releasing Into The Nations!

Billions who do not know Jesus Christ, live within a short plane ride of Hong Kong. The Great Commission requires that we take seriously God's challenge to reach them with the Gospel. The School of Global Community Service aims to train men and women to effectively minister cross culturally to these people.

At ICA, we recognise that some are called to long-term cross cultural ministry, some want to include a mission's component in a ministry degree, while others want to better prepare themselves for short-term Global Community Service Teams. Our courses cater for each category. A crucial element of the School of Global Community Service is the opportunity to network with seasoned professionals, to have regular cross cultural ministry and to be supervised in a practical setting.

Pre-global Community Service Trip Training

It is important to have a pre-global community service trip training before the team goes out to training sessions is to have and upgrade: unity among members, prayers, recognition of spiritual gift, right attitude, delegation on logistics and preparation for the trip, and education on understanding the background and culture of the place we visit.

Local Community Service Training

This course aims to provide theological and practical training to believers equipping and empowering them to serve in the Church's outreach to the community. The course covers a biblical foundation of a missional church, an understanding of the church's vision, building the right perspective for ministry, practical skills for outreach and evangelism, understanding the local culture and the people you serve (with focus on the poor and the elderly) and an emphasis on field training. The certificate level course is opened to all who has a heart for local missions and serving the local poor and marginalized.
